Mandy Gyles is the Communications Manager at Plant Health Australia, the national coordinator of the government-industry partnership for plant biosecurity in Australia.
Mandy holds a bachelor in Agricultural Science and a Masters in Rural Science. Her early experiences as an ABC Rural reporter and in international agricultural research set her path as a communication and stakeholder engagement specialist in agriculture and international development.
In recent years, Mandy has worked with the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources and the Australia Centre for International Agricultural Research. She has also consulted to many agricultural and development agencies, such as the International Crop Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics in India.
