His expertise and visionary leadership have propelled him to represent Australia on the System Council of the $1-billion CGIAR, an international research consortium encompassing 9000 scientists from 45 predominantly developing countries. Additionally, he has steered the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases as its Chair.

With an impressive array of accomplishments, Professor Campbell’s contributions have earned him recognition as an elected Fellow of the Australian Academy for Technology and Engineering, a Professorial Fellow at the ANU Fenner School, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute for Company Directors.
